What you need to go fishing

In order to go fishing there are a couple of things that you need to do. One of the first things is to get the right equipment! There are multiple different items needed such as a fishing pole, a reel, a hook, weights, swivels, and some bait or a lure. You can buy most if not all of these items from your local fishing/hunting store or even a general store. A suitable place to find fishing equipment would be Bass Pro Shop. However, multiple other places will work for you to be able to buy the equipment you need. Another thing you will need for fishing is patience. While fishing is really fun, quite a lot of your time will be spent sitting back relaxing and enjoying nature as fish do not tend to instantly strike anything or may not even be in the area. Being calm, quiet, and patient will be a big help when going fishing and will increase your chances of catching a fish.

Another step in preparing for fishing is to learn about the fish themselves. Learning about the fish and knowing what they tend to do, where they like to reside, how they hunt, and multiple other factors will increase your chances of catching a fish. If you go fishing blindly with no knowledge about the fish you are trying to catch, you might turn up lucky or more likely you will not. To help everyone gain more knowledge about different kinds of fish to be able to go fishing more effectively and efficiently, I am going to be going through and talking about a couple different species of fish. I will be mentioning a couple different pieces of information about them such as what they like and dislike, what kinds of weather the fish prefers, the perfect temperature of water, the overall location that the fish tends to reside in, and what season it would be best to go fishing for that species. Having knowledge about the fish you want to go fishing for will improve your chances of successfully catching a fish!
